The Woof and Whisker Inn provides a clean and loving environment for your dogs while they are away from home.  With the owners living on property there will always be someone nearby to make sure your pets are well cared for and safe.  Each dog stays in a spacious 12 X 4 kennel with luxury bedding and fresh water.  Kennels are cleaned and disinfected each morning.  Dogs are walked 4-5 times per day and one of the times is for an extended playtime. You can also add additional playtimes or enroll your dog in doggie daycare so that he can play all day before returning to his bed in the evening.  Guests receive a night time treat before bed.

 

While we can provide quality food for your dog, we do encourage owners to bring their dog’s own food to avoid upset stomachs that can occur when diets are changed rapidly.  Please feel free to bring your dog’s favorite treats as well.  beo 

Enroll your pet in doggie day care during his stay or schedule a grooming appointment before you take him home. Add an extra treat or activity!

To ensure the safety and health of all our furry friends must be current on all vaccinations:  Rabies, Bordetella and DHLPP. Vaccinations must be presented at check in or faxed in advance to 941-531-6300.   Pets must be on a flea and tick prevention program and must be free of fleas and ticks.  If  fleas or ticks are found at check in your pet will be bathed at the salon and charge will be added to bill at check out.  All non-aggressive dogs over 7 months must be spayed or neutered to participate in group play or to stay in the house.

           Daily Boarding Prices

Rates include luxury bedding, one playtime, multiple potty breaks, administration of medicine and lots of love.  We offer discounted rates for multiple dogs from the same family.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         If you decide not to bring your own food we can provide food for $3 extra per day.  No drop offs or pick ups on major holidays.
