The Woof and Whisker Inn provides a clean and loving environment for your dogs while they are away from home.  Each dog stays in a spacious 12 X 4 kennel with luxury bedding and fresh water.  Your furry friend will always be comfortable since the kennel has both heating and air-conditioning.  The owners live on property and let your dogs out before they go to bed and then as soon as they wake up in the morning.  They go out again 2-3 more times during the day, one of times is for an extended play time.  You can also add additional playtimes or enroll your dog in doggie daycare so that he can play all day before returning to his bed in the evening.  Guests receive a night time treat before bed.

 

While we can provide quality food for your dog, we do encourage owners to bring their dog’s own food to avoid upset stomachs that can occur when diets are changed rapidly.  Please feel free to bring your dog’s favorite treats as well. 

Enroll your pet in doggie daycare during his stay or schedule a grooming appointment before you take him home. Add an extra treat or activity!

To ensure the safety and health of all our furry friends your dog must be current on all vaccinations: Rabies, Bordetella and DHLPP. Vaccinations must be presented at check in or faxed in advance to 941-531-6300.  Pets must be on a flea and tick prevention program and must be free of fleas and ticks. If  fleas or ticks are found at check in your pet will be bathed at the salon and a charge will be added to your bill at check out. All dogs over 7 months must be spayed or neutered to participate in playgroups or to stay in the house.  All dogs need to be in good health and non aggressive.

           Daily Boarding Prices

Rates include luxury bedding, one playtime, multiple potty breaks, administration of medicine and lots of love.  We offer discounted rates for multiple dogs from the same family.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     If you decide not to bring your own food we can provide food for $2 extra per day.  No drop offs or pick ups on major holidays.  During the week you can drop off anytime between 7am-6pm, Saturdays from 8am-4pm and Sundays we are only open from 5-7pm.  Rates are per calendar day unless you pick up between 7-9am (Monday-Saturday only) and then you are not charged for that day.
